Devon Wheelhouse plays the greenhorn Englishman ridiculed by the Vernon natives circa 1892 in the play Vernon…Our Town!
In the photo below, the ladies of Vernon are in awe of Lord Aberdeen, the Governor General of Canada at the time and were especially in awe of the dynamic Lady Aberdeen.
The play was devised through ensemble, written and directed by Kay Stamboulieh. Costumes were researched and created by Kathy Osterhagen.
